Largemouth bass were stacked up shallow along the bank in areas that had sand patches mixed in with shallow grass and docks. If you could see patchy bright sand spots mixed in with vegetation, you were on a fishy stretch of bank. Fish were roaming around everywhere so you just had to drift around shallow and fan cast. Some fish were definitely under docks as well. An occasional smallie was caught mixed in with all the largemouth.

Braved the big winds and found the fish on windblown shore lines with sparse weeds in about 14-16 feet of water. Easiest way to find them was to troll a tungsten bullet weight and slow death rig while watching side scan and livescope. You then could spot lock on the fish and cast to them. A 3/16 ned rig and a big zman trd seemed to work well. Most would hit the bait before it hit the bottom. The fall bite isn't quiet here yet but with cooling temps in the forecast, hopefully we can get that fall bite that everyone loves!
