The upper and main lake are very muddy, however as you move further into the creeks the water begins to clear up. Paying attention to the birds is a great indicator as to what section of the creeks the bait is congregating in. On this outing there was little to no wind towards the backs of the creeks, forcing me to abandon the normal winter power fishing techniques and slow down with finesse gear.
