The bass we’re targeting the herring in the mornings so we used the spinnerbaits and swimming worm to target the active fish. As the day went on, we switched to the D-bomb and targeted laydowns and brush to find the larger fish that were looking to ambush a meal.

TEMPERATURE WAS WARM 82 , WIND 5-10 LAKE LEVEL IS AROUND 5' LOW EXPECTED TO DROP MAYBE ANOTHER 5' WITH NO RAIN IN THE AREA

Still some schooling action going on points and secondary points. But Shallow pockets are producing quality fish with buzzbaits along the banks. When the sun came out drop shot along points and island around 10-15 foot produced a lot of extra bites.

The two biggest fish of are tournament were on drop shots with cane piles near by. Fish are also on ledges and will come up schooling if you hit them at the right time. Perfect time to go is sunny with light wind. Keep fishing never stop!!!

It made fishing extremely tough due to scattering the bass and bait fish all over. I found most of my fish over 10-15 feet of water with grass just below the surface, but that bite died on day two due the grass dying off rapidly. Day two came from the sides of main lake points anywhere from 15-25 feet of water with a drop shot.
