Had a two day club tournament 7-8 June 2025 and found the smallmouth quite receptive to almost anything we threw. Over the course of the tournament I boated close to 100 smallies and my partner did also. Every fish caught was post spawn. A lot of long skinny fish that before the spawn weighed 4 to 5+ pounds but instead were one to two pounds under what they should have weighed. Overall a great weekend of fishing. Along with a Senko a third of my fish were caught on Core Tackles Chartreuse/ White 1/4oz swimbait.
