Fishing shallow grass with a big worm produced the biggest bites. Caught some using a frog as well. Fish were chasing bait over deep water but could get any to bite.

Caught a limit throwing various size megabass and lucky craft jerkbaits. Expride 6’10” med with a Curado 70 mgl is the perfect combo for jerkbaits. Craw colored ned rigs also produced on main lake points with brush or wood structure leading into the creeks. Huge cat fish bit a fire craw jackhammer off a creek edge.

Had blow up on frog and caught with fluke on follow up. Caught rest of the fish during the day with watermelon red trick worm shakey head around grass beds. Total was 20 fish with only 4 keepers fir 7.11 lbs big fish was 2.15 lbs. Finshed 1st place and big fish.
