    What you need to know about fishing Lake Owen

    Lake Owen owes its maximum depth of 95 feet to the glaciers that moved through this area of Wisconsin in the Ice Age. Lake Owen is a 1250-acre lake in the Cable recreation area in the northern part of the State. Located in close proximity to some of the most frequented fishing lakes in the Midwest, Lake Owen offers excellent fishing opportunities for Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass and Walleye. A boat ramp can be found on the north end of the lake off of North Lake Owen Drive.
