Fish have pulled out to deeper water. There are still some in shallow water but the better quality fish were found in the 6-10 FOW, on weed lines. Keitech slow rolled along the edge was the deal!

Fishing the island flats with tall grass. Slow cadence seemed to work the best.

Cast up shallow by flooded brush and let chatterbait hit the bottom. Start creeping it back along the bottom just barely get the blade to start kicking.

Slow role a bladed jig on the edges of thick grass. Burn it over the tops of sparse grass.

Weed edges off off points that had deep water near by. Slow rolling a swim bait on the weed edges and they would hammer it! Deeper grass with a jig would also produce some quality fish.. was able to boat 15 fish in a 4 hour derby..
