Weed edges off off points that had deep water near by. Slow rolling a swim bait on the weed edges and they would hammer it! Deeper grass with a jig would also produce some quality fish.. was able to boat 15 fish in a 4 hour derby..

Find sparse grass in about 20ft, slowly drag the dropshot and pop it one in a while.

Slow role a bladed jig on the edges of thick grass. Burn it over the tops of sparse grass.
