Water temps hovering just over 50 degrees and air temps around the same, we were fishing during the eclipse at the Lake St Clair Metropark Marsh and got on double digit catches, throwing spinner baits in white and white/chartreuse on the Abu Garcia Jordan Lee Baitcasting combo. Retrieve methods was slow to medium but the bass are becoming less lethargic and are willing to chase. Tandem blades were KEY!

Running the Berkley SLOBBERKNOCKER bladed jig out at Harsens Island for some prespawn largemouth bass. Had success with slow and fast retrieve in about 4FOW close to the shoreline. Air temps were in the high 50’s, wind was light.
