The smallmouth bass were pushed in shallow with the latest warming trend that has come through, as they’ve been following the baitfish coming in to warmer waters. The grasses and weeds are starting to die off, but there are plenty of areas for the baitfish to linger up shallow off of points. The weighted wacky rig helps increase the fall and motion of the fat Senko as it moves thru the water. It also helps get it through and vegetation. The crossover ring helps keep the rig intact for multiple catches and helps hold that Senko on the rig longer.
