Caught my fish early on the jack hammer along chunk rock banks. I got my 3rd keeper flipping a Man Bear Pig on a dock late. Finished 5th out of 27 boaters in the Illinois Bass Federation event. There were only 2 limits weighed in. The lake is fishing very tough right now

The only way I could get bit was skipping a bladed jig under docks that were in 4-10 feet of water. The largemouth are not schooling on shad yet but there are lots of shad so use a color that is close to what the shad look like.

Find baitfish around the bank, killer bait. Usually you can just beat the bank with it and catch them good during shad spawn
