Late spring this year—the ice is just coming off near the Apostle Islands and the brown trout are up shallow in the big lake! Trolling in-line planer boards with stickbaits caught all the fish, nothing hit the leadcore with spoons. Water temp was 34-35 F, had to break some skim ice on the way out, and most fish were in about 10 ft of water.
