They were offshore hitting jigging spoons in 50 fow suspended in 30 feet.

Did a little fishing on a poontoon boat trip on lake Travis and had to bring a rod along. 2-3ft visibility. Largemouth and Guadalupe bass were posted along shaded bluff walls in the coves and under boat docks and marinas. Mid-afternoon bite was tough. I had the most success with smaller swimjigs with paddle tail trailers, reeled at the slowest speed where the tail would still kick and as close to the bottom of the lake as possible.
