I have been on Lake Tyler the past couple of weekends and can confirm the fall bite is in full effect. While the bites can be few and far between the quality of those bites will make up for it. Both trips I kept a buzzbait rigged with a small Berkley Swimbait in my hand casting it under docks making sure to hit it from multiple angles has produced most of my bites. I have also gone down bare stretches of wind blown banks catching a couple as well on a Berkley J-Walker. This bite should hold on until we start seeing more cold fronts and water temps firmly below 60 degrees.

Skipping jigs back up under docks brought us a couple of bites during our tournament on Lake Tyler. With a front rolling in the night before and the wind shifting direction mid way through the day the fishing was tougher than expected. The east side of the lake seemed to produce more bites than the west side.
