Was getting some pretty non-committal bites on the swim jig. After trying different colors and retrieves switched over to a weighted screw lock hook with a swim'n dinger and improved hook ups with the finesse approach. Worked the southern half of the lake but would have paddled across to the northern half had I known it was going to be sunny as it is much shallower. Overall, put up fine numbers but couldn't get on the big bite. I would switch up techniques, maybe throw something with an underspin next time out.
