I did something new I haven't tried but had the set up to do. I tried the wacky rig and did very well dropping it in matted holes. Depth ranged from 3' to 8' of water. I usually work at deeper levels during the summer, I was surprised how well the wacky rig did. I'm sold!

Look for bass in 8-12 FOW in submerged weed beds. Slow dragging large worms or flipping the weed edges with creature baits seems to be HOT right now. The bass are schooling and it can be fast and furious when you find them.
