Bass were in ~6' water, just inside the dense outer weeds. Once I found them I was able to catch multiple in the same area. A larger green/yellow tube worked best, and I rigged it weedless.

The large mouth were biting in and around the 12'-14' mark above the submerged vegetation. The real trick was finding the sandy areas amongst the vegetation and slowly dragging the Ned Bait along and popping it into and through the vegetation
