The wind was whipping between 15 and 20 mph. We spot-locked as far as we could outside the thickest part of different weed beds and made very long casts. It was important to keep a very light jig head on despite the wind. Most bites came on the initial fall on ned rigs. We caught walleye, bass, drum, and pike.

We looked for deep rock spines around the lake and threw light Ned rigs. We caught a number of species, but mainly largemouth bass. Most fish hit on the drop. We kept moving and picked up a few fish in each location.
