TechniqueDrop ShotSeasonFallStructurePointsWent out today near the i-90 bridge, the wind was blowign 15mph. I caught 3 fish and had to call it quits when the rain came pouring in. Overall, the pink 6" worm got the best bites. I think the nasty conditions made the fish more aggressive towards bigger and brighter worms

TechniqueTrolling Mid Depth (10-19')SeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationI had a number of fish on this new to me lure. It definitely helps me weed out unwanted species. Bass only so far on this lure. I like that. Coho salmon are in groups about 1/4 mile off Kirkland water front. Season supposed to open on that next week. My freezer already is full of them though. Several smallmouth and largemouth on the money badger too

TechniqueNed RigsSeasonFallStructureRock PileWent back to meydenbaur today, had a lot of bites on the zman trd ned rig. Just let it sit, then hopped it occasionally. Every cast I got a bite, but it was mostly small smallmouths. The fish are starting to come shallower with the little guys leading the pack. I got a couple 2lbers which was great fun on the eyecon ml. I highly recommend the st. croix eyecon for this style of fishing because it is so comfortable to deadstick with the large foregrip.

TechniqueDrop ShotSeasonSummerStructureHumpsWent around Meydenbaur Bay with my inflatable kayak. The low wind in the bay made fishing on the kayak easy. Near the park where I launched it is very shallow with few fish. On the northern side I found sandy flats with some rocks and caught some smallmouth on the maxscent flatworm. Too bad they are out of stock everywhere. The tungsten really helped for me to feel the bottom, whether it was sand or rocks. In Meydenbaur bay, the best locations are the docks on the north side. The water gets VERY deep (50') not far from shore while the docks have shallow water, indicating a drop off. I fished along the drop off and got instant bites with the flatworm.

TechniqueCarolina RigsSeasonIceStructurePointsSurprisingly nice day out, pops and I launched from Gene Coulon in Renton and mainly fished points and breaks. Lots of junk in the water that dropped the visibility to 2-4ft tops. Last weekend when we went for the record it was 6-10ft clarity unless you went to the mouth of the Sammamish River. Southern wind that picked up throughout the day to ~8-10mph. Fished from the Cedar River up to I-90 on the East side. Fish seemed to be relating to 25-35 ft on the bottom from looking at 2D, but had a hell of a time trying to get them to bite. Tubes, Dropshots, Jigs, Deep Crankbaits, Lipless Cranks, Bladebaits didn't get any bites. My one bite/almost catch came on a 5" Green Pumpkin Senko Carolina rig (Which I spent most of the day on) in ~30ft off a subtle point half way to I90. Got the fish right next to the boat where he angrily shook my hook off and swam away. Probably a Smallmouth with the way he fought but honestly it could have been a ferocious trout, he looked a bit more silvery than I'm used to seeing our Smallmouth! Bit of an odd day, probably should have adjusted to the water clarity more but it caught me off guard. Had 1"+ of rain the previous day so makes sense that it got a bit murky. I did try a black senko at one point but didn't get anything.

TechniqueMedium Diving Crankbaits (7'-12')SeasonSummerStructureSubmerged VegetationBass are usually found on the outside of weed lines from this time of year until late fall in this lake. This day was no exception and I fished with a crankbait all day , typically from 15-20 feet deep with my line about 10-15 feet down. This one was caught in front of Kirkland but several more near Hunts Point
