I caught fish between 6 and 15 feet of water. Using live scope I could find a single fish or a group of fish and they would bite a core tackle hover rig as it was falling. The more fish in a group the more likely they were to bite.

They were generating a little current and the fish were on rock up the river ambushing baitfish and the spinner bait was getting bit.

It’s that time of year guys fish are really getting fired up. Caught a lot of numbers and some good weight. You can find the Shad in the back of certain creeks and sloughs and throw the recommended baits and your going to get hammered! Find the Shad find the bass.

Main pattern was finding brush piles with fish sitting above them indicates that they are feeding. Second pattern was finding random suspending wolfpacks of 2-6 fish that were NOT chasing bait. Those were the easiest fish to catch. Had 14.4 of all spotted bass.
