Finding deeper wild rice in the back bays of leech was the ticket. Fishing was best wherever there was a deep spot or even if it was closer to deep water. Lots of action and even a few big ones. Fishing the frog slow over open pockets seemed to help with hookups.

Fishing the Booyah Pad Crasher over matted rice patches imaging the water bugs. Decent largemouth bass would come up and smoke it! Then throwing the Keitech Fat Swing Impact next to docks slowly reeling it back and that seemed to get the job done also.
