Reeds with jigs, and fishing rice with frogs and heavy texas rigs produced fish in multiple bays. Black Blue and Green Pumpkin were the top producing colors. Finding minnows, perch and bluegills was a key to productive rice beds.

Had decent success in the morning flipping craw tube into reeds. Also had a decent frog bite near rice and lilly pads.

Day 2 club tournament. Fished the east half of the lake. Sunny skies and light breeze. Most of my bass came on the frog in lilly pads or rice/lilly pad mix. Had a little success flippin creatures into the reeds as well. No monster bass today. The big old pike in the photo was more interesting... Also came on a frog. 😁
