Water temp 84-86, water clarity 1.5-2.5ft. I made it out after work and didn't think it was going to be a good day for fishing at all. It was slick calm with no wind and hottt! The day was not one of my "i'm going to catch a giant days." I was fishing a point sitting in about 23ft of water casting to a brush in around 16-18ft. I sunk a very light drop shot down to the pile with my California 420 Zoom trickworm. She ate it and started peeling drag. The lake has warmed up a bit since the cold front and the bass are starting to spread out again. They were really grouped up the last couple weeks chasing bait but now its pick one off and move. Good luck y'all!

Hey everyone. I was out 8/30/22 and the water temps are in the low 80’s. The water is surprisingly still very clear and the fish are moving like crazy. With the influx of rain the water is cooling down and the lake levels are rising. I was getting tons of bites on a Zoom Green Pumpkin trick worm rigged on a drop shot. It was an amazing day of fishing! I would set up for dragging around 15ft of water and cast up to the bank. I would get but generally 15-20ft off the bank. Slow dragging is key so don’t get too impatient.
