      Mamie lake is fishing very good for bass smallmouth or largemouth. You will find better quality largemouth in this lake due to its lack of depth and abundance of vegetation. I found all of my 2-4lb largemouth hugged up to laydowns. A black and blue 6th sense Divine swim jig was the hot bait paired with anything with matching color as a trailer. The largemouth can be easily caught by casting parallel to the laydowns and slowly working it back to the boat. Water clarity is very low and shockingly cool for late summer.
