Early morning they were eating shad up shallow and as the sun came up you could catch 20+ fish on a wacky rigged worm. If you're looking for better quality then flipping/punching grass mats was the way to go.

Found them good in windblown pockets. Bass were hanging on the edge of grass ambushing bait as it was blown in. 3/8s jackhammer worked fast along the grass edges drew reaction strikes.
