TechniqueHover/Mid-StrollingSeasonSummerStructureBouldersHad just under 52lbs for 2 days over Labor Day Fish are starting to get in a great mood. Shaking a minnow is by far working best. Been throwing about any minnow under the sun but those 3 are working decent. Great rod and reel I got listed for doing this technique. So feel free to check it out!!

TechniqueUmbrella RigsSeasonSummerStructureReefOn September 1st I went over to Mille Lacs. I ended up just throwing an Alabama Rig the entire time, did not catch any big ones, but caught a lot of em, must of them were right around the 3 pound mark. The golden eye from outkast is the perfect swimbait head for this rig as it has a stout hook, so it won't bend out. I throw this on the Phoenix M1 casting rod, 7'8" heavy, with the softer tip you can cast it a mile
