Fish are reacting great and are very bitey. Seems the deeper you go the better. Was catching fish all the way out to 23-24. But mainly 15-20. They are seeing a lot of minnows out here so throwing something slightly different is a big deal.

Shaking Quad Hover with a freeloader was the deal and allowed me to catch fish on boulders people had already fished.

Minnows are BY FAR the most productive thing right now. Fish wont even look at any bait on the bottom.

Throwing minnows is by far the most productive. Find the structure, hover a minnow, and watch it unfold. I put that 0 size split ring on those rollin heads and it makes a MASSIVE difference in number of break offs because that line tie is at such a weird angle.

Shaking a minnow is by far working best. Been throwing about any minnow under the sun but those 3 are working decent. Great rod and reel I got listed for doing this technique. On oct-6 we found fish in 7-9 ft cruising rock reefs. We threw spinner baits and found success doing it. This to me is something that’s not really talked about by many. We were chucking mega bass spinner baits with no trailer on them. Slow rolling it with a 6:3 Tatula sv. Straight suffix 832 braid (20lb). The conditions you need for this are calm with at least some sun. Focus more n really casting out far. I caught 3 fish to my partners one because of the reel I was using. 7:3 is just too fast in my opinion and proved true that day.
