TechniqueHover/Mid-StrollingSeasonSummerStructureBouldersHad just under 52lbs for 2 days over Labor Day Fish are starting to get in a great mood. Shaking a minnow is by far working best. Been throwing about any minnow under the sun but those 3 are working decent. Great rod and reel I got listed for doing this technique. So feel free to check it out!!

TechniqueNed RigsSeasonSummerStructureBouldersWas on the pond 9/3,9/4, & 9/6 Fish are staged on boulders in 8-12 ft, theirs also a decent deep bite if you can find the right boulders. Using livescope to sharpshoot fish, if your boat gets too close those fish will begin to push away. I’m spending no more than 15/20 mines per area, if the fish aren’t reacting to my bait I leave. I’ve been using outkast tackle perfect Ned’s , golden eye heads with swimbaits, & dropshots to catch them. I honestly think it’s more about the area your in then it is about the baits. If you find a school and catch one on a ned and can’t get bit afterwards pick up a different bait and try it, it can often produce another bite or 2. Temps are cooling fast and within the next 2 weeks we should see fish move shallow!
