Fished Vineland bay for largemouth. Mostly cloudy, south wind blowing a bit and a storm rolled in mid morning. I found several good fish at the edges of the reeds all along the bay. Buzzbait with a gold blade was the only one I threw. No skirt, toad trailer. Water clarity was fairly dirty for Mille Lacs. Anywhere the depth was closer to 5ft at the end of the reeds was better than the reeds that end in shallower water.

Came up from Nebraska. The bite was tough on community stuff. Moved to the secret sauce and locked up on two schools of the old ugly beat up ladies. I mean these girls were worn out grannies…AKA the bigs. Had back to back 5+. First time that’s ever happened for me. Great trip and will be back on the big pond soon.
