Largemouth BassTechniqueShakey HeadsSeasonSummerStructureBrush PilesPatterned fish in brush piles located on wind-blown main lake and secondary points in 12-18’. Fish were holding very tight to cover. Best presentation was sinking a shakey head or neko rig finesse worm through the thickest brush on semi-slack line and waiting for a strike. PRO TIP: When sinking a neko rig through brush you want to use a very light nail weight to find perfect sinking rate. 1/32oz worked best for this situation. A chatterbait thrown along outside weed edges produced some small keepers, but larger fish were definitely out deep related to brush.
