Fishing at this location is good during the summer months. The bass will still be hanging shallow near lay downs and would often bite a Texas rig creature bait. The fun action is during the early morning or late afternoon catching the largemouth on topwater frogs on the far north end of the reservoir on grass mats. Cast your frog on top of the grass and walk it out. I usually like to work my frog fast out of the grass then slow down my twitches in pockets. Then hand on to your rod because it can either be a bass or a musky on the end of your line!
