With the wind blowing 20+ mph most of the day slowing down and picking cover apart wasn't really an option. I grabbed a 3/8 war eagle spinnerbait with white double willow blades and just covered water. I caught them off different types of cover but laydowns and trash mats were the main areas. Deflecting the spinnerbait off of limbs or the trunk was key to getting the reaction bite.

Fished brushpiles in 10 to 20 feet of water around docks. When the lake is pressured, the deeper brush is a good place to catch fish that haven't been beat on all day. A dropshot is a good presentation for this. I use the lightest weight I can get away with on that given day and around a 2 feet tag end so I can keep the bait above the brush. Also less is more when it comes to moving the bait. Once the weight is in the cover just hold it still so there's not a lot of banging against the wood. I use livescope for this but traditional 2D will work fine.
