Most of my fish came in the early morning hours. The bite started with a chatterbait but as I moved into more shallow water with thicker vegetation it turned more towards a topwater toad bite

All the fish I caught as well as the strikes I had were all around brush piles up in shallow water. The chatterbait did well early in the morning but as the day went on i noticed that these fish continued busting at the surface so I switched to the Goat Toadz. All the action I had on top water was near brush piles as well.
