We went out on opener for a few hours, the water temp was 64-65 and it seemed like bass were already off beds and in post spawn patterns. Most fish were caught throwing an evo with a live magic shad trailer on a flat or outside weed edge and bass would hit it on the pause after ripping through vegetation. Other bass were caught on a ned and a jig

Largemouth bass could be found early on secondary point weed edges. Most efficient technique was using a lipless crankbait (6th Sense quake 70 in natural colors for me specifically). As the sun got higher, fish moved into shallow areas with rocks, sand, gravel, etc.
