Stoking the blade with a yo-yo retrieve. Seemed to work. Was a one-off fish and only caught the single from the bank. No Kayak his time around. Just junk fishing.

Shad
Wash fishing stumps in shallow water. Started noticing small blowups in the water. Decided to change to the spinning rod with the baby shad and a 6th Sense Pecos under spin. This guy nailed it on the first cast. Got two more before having to call it quits. They are definitely watching undersized baits. With spinner bait with willow leaf baits were a bust in the same area.
