Deadsticking a jerkbait led to slow rolling a OG Slim. The key to getting bites was to kill the bait occasionally, especially when you’ve bumped cover.

The bass where on steep banks hitting crank baits in 3 to 6 feet. Tried scoping but the fish are tight to the bottom and would come look at the bait and than go back down
