Fishing near an island at the edge of a weedbed. Casting to a rock pile with shade from trees in the mid-morning. Lots of bluegill in the area. Was being patient with the drop of the worm and not trying to move it too quickly. Always hit on the way down. Landed 5x 2-3lb largemouth bass.

In the late evening, bass were popping around the lily pads. I used a couple techniques with the Megabass PopMax where I would slowly retrieve, pause, and pop it. I would also get the bait to swim just under the top creating a tight swimming action. This technique worked best going as slow as I could while keeping it submerged. Both resulted in 3lb+ bass.
