Found a HUGE school of fish along a rock spine this morning. It's much easier to find these areas when current is pushing heavier as you can see the current seam better. Don't be afraid to throw bigger baits for these fish!

Tossing the frogs on to the shore and slowly bringing it in the water was key the bass were tight to the shore and would often times hit just as the frog was being brought into the water.

Seriously this lure is the best and had the best hooks. Rocks in current. This bait had caught so many on many different bodies of water

Fun tournament on the Mississippi River. Key to our fish was finding areas with current still flowing through with a variety mix of vegetation and hearing the bluegills popping. If the gills weren't popping you want to keep moving.

Ran the boat for the SATT tournament in pools4, 5 and 5a. We focused on 5 and 5a with our team and fished mostly backwater areas with top waters and swim jigs. The bite was tough, we did find good fishy areas but getting a consistent bite was not easy. Best spots had a mix of grass, lilly pads and duckweed. Moving water nearby is a plus. The bonus fish were nice, we caught a 29" and 31" pike on frogs or swimjigs and also an 18" walleye, in the same areas we were bass fishing .
