TechniqueFrogs/ToadsSeasonSummerStructureLily PadsRan the boat for the SATT tournament in pools4, 5 and 5a. We focused on 5 and 5a with our team and fished mostly backwater areas with top waters and swim jigs. The bite was tough, we did find good fishy areas but getting a consistent bite was not easy. Best spots had a mix of grass, lilly pads and duckweed. Moving water nearby is a plus. The bonus fish were nice, we caught a 29" and 31" pike on frogs or swimjigs and also an 18" walleye, in the same areas we were bass fishing .
