Visually seeing shad flicking out of the water along with boils was key to accurately targeting fish. Focused on both upstream and downstream points with scattered eelgrass. Also caught some good fish on wingdams.

What great place to fish. We were looking for both large and smallmouth. Started in channels around cut banks and pockets. Did well in numbers but found it hard to get places because of the low water. It dropped from previous day. Finished the day with a chatterbait and got our biggest fish in the back of pockets. Frogs got some blow up too. Found a weed lines that gave up a couple while waiting on the lock
