Even with the cooler temps I was able to get bit on a buzzbait in the shallow water near cover. The bite was only good early in the morning and then was pretty much done after midmorning. All my biggest bass came from the buzzbait throwing it near the shoreline or where reeds came out a little.

I caught several Big Largemouth a few days ago, Tried both in the River and the lake. Some of the Channels are starting to hold a decent amount Largemouth bass. If jigs arent working try something like a Zman Ned Rig or Wacky Worm.

During day 1 of the WBN Bass Classic on Lake Puckaway I caught 19.41 lbs of largemouth using a black and blue NorthStar Custom Swimjig (close to the Dirty Jigs Swimjig) and a sapphire blue trailer. During practice I caught a decent amount of smallmouth in the river that were all on a small green pumpkin tube.
