This bass hit on the Jackhammer with a Gene Larew Biffle Bug as the trailer. I turned it on its side so that it was rigged vertically. This gives the tail a lifelike look and action similar to a Bluegill, Shad, or small Crappie. I slow rolled it to keep near the bottom, with an occasional quick crank burst once in a while. The bass hit on the quick crank, thinking the Jackhammer was getting away. The natural hunting action of the Jackhammer combined with the unique action of the Biffle Bugg created a meal the bass couldn’t refuse! An added note here-Gene Larew Biffle Bugs have been added to the Yum soft plastics line under the name Scutter Bug.

Focus on the wind blown sides of the points; slowly drag and pop worm. Also have fun with the sand bass and crappie if the LM bass aren't biting. They like smaller hair jigs w/ spinners.
