Cranking was the key to catching the fish. The weather was overcast and 85. If you find any kind of rock on points and drop-offs, you will find the fish. It was a medium retrieve with pauses whenever you hit a rock.

Working the shakey head with the Berkley Maxscent creature is a game-changer. This really gets the bite when it is slow and tough fishing. Find structure and work it methodically. You don't need to spend more than 15minutes per structure. Keep moving and finding areas.
