First time on the lake, fish were on beds, decided NOT to fish bedding fish. Looking for post spawn or staging fish. Found clumps of developing cabbage, this is where the concentrations of fish were. Vast schools of panfish were basically everywhere off the dropoffs and spawning...it was a very tough bite. Ended up catching 25 or so bass. Nothing over 2.75 lbs. I think this would be a fun lake in summer peak timeframe fishing deep weedlines.
