Shallow reeds near breaks had largemouth feeding heavily. Flats near drops had smallmouth roaming and feeding post spawn as well. Lake survey is dismal for bass, but the lake has good populations of large fish of both types.

Smallmouth bass in Sand Lake are currently in all three stages of the spawn. Fish are still sitting on beds on rock piles in 4-6 feet of water. Finesse presentations like drop shots and ned rigs are able to get bites as well as shallow jerkbaits.
