Dead sticking a drop shot was catching a few fish around humps and rock points. I prefer threading plastics onto a hook with a keeper vs. nose hooking to make the bait last longer.

Smallmouth were suspended up on narrow points - once you found a group, they smacked a jerkbait pretty good. Largemouth were getting super shallow around laydowns and early spring grass. Swimming a jig around wood produced some awesome bites.
