Dead sticking a drop shot was catching a few fish around humps and rock points. I prefer threading plastics onto a hook with a keeper vs. nose hooking to make the bait last longer.

Basically anywhere on the lake that had a visible Hazard marker had bass nearby. Smallies could be caught on rocks shallow down to 20 feet. You just needed to find the chunk rock that was away from the grass. Picking off individual fish from bigger rocks with the Ned TRD also worked well using forward facing sonar.
