There is not a lot of ice left on the Bay and what’s left is blowing around a lot. Fish have moved pretty shallow and are pretty hungry on the right days. They ate the rippin rap well before the sunrise and then the tingler spoon was the ticket when the sun came up. Take advantage of lowlight! Keep changing cadence to find what they want.

Whitefish were out on deep contour breaks. We were fishing a contour that went from about 40-80 feet pretty quickly. Gold and flashier colors seem to do well on the bay. Bottom pounding baits was also key. Slider rigs tipped with wax worms seemed to outfish normal spoons and jigging raps.
