A buddy of mine took me out to Sunrise Lake in early August 2022. The largemouth bass was not biting swimbaits and senkos much but once we started casting topwater pad crasher frogs, fish strikes were back-to-back with decent 2lb - 3lbers.

Most of my big bites came from fishing the hump on the southern part of the lake. The Bass were schooled up and suspended near the hump. Steady retrieve with a spinner bait was what they wanted. Use a slow reel. Any spinner bait will do, you just have to get it in the strike zone.
