Morning top water bites are pretty good. A jerk bait worked really well too. You can rig the Keitech anyway you want. You can steady retrieve or pause. The zman finese hooked up like a Ned rig and let it sit. That's the color that work for the day.

Fished a local kayak tournament 7/8/2023. Water clarity was 1.5-2 ft with lots of floating debris. Fish were holding tight to lay downs on the bank in 4-6 ft of water. Spinnerbait with a grub trailer, tail dipped in spike it chartreuse was the bait that got the most bites
