The river was running around 3.8’. The water clarity was slightly stained. I was fishing boulders in 1-3’ of water. I was focusing on water outside of the current. Pumping the choppo on my retrieve.

Fished a local kayak tournament 7/8/2023. Water clarity was 1.5-2 ft with lots of floating debris. Fish were holding tight to lay downs on the bank in 4-6 ft of water. Spinnerbait with a grub trailer, tail dipped in spike it chartreuse was the bait that got the most bites
