Flipped the creature in thicker weed lines or grass clumps and the jig in more sparse or rock points. Found flats to deeper water close by and with current pushing into it from channel swings was the ticket. Heavier grass produced large mouth and rockier areas was some nice smallmouth. Didn’t get tones of bites in one spot but would reload where we found bites. On the rockier areas a square bill crank got a couple bites too, but also got some northers nailing it too.
