It is slightly murky to clear. A few fish are being caught in the few bushes that still have water in them. A few fish are being caught on top water, early. ( Follow the shade ) A lot of fish are being caught on football jigs in 18’ to 28’. Some fish are being caught on Carolina rigs in 28’ to 32’

In the early hours fish 5-12 feet deep inside the first cut after a bluff wall. Bushes help in this bite. As the sun comes out back out to 12-20 feet and throw a ned rig. Chunk rock is key

There are a few largemouth pushing into bushes with the current high water conditions. You can spend a good portion of the day flipping a Texas rig into that shallow brush and pulling out decent fish in that 2-3lb range. The storms have been firing up these fish, but post front fish will be shy. Its hard to get specific with color, as the water clarity is changing day by day. What I tagged as the hotbait is the color I chose to throw with 5-6ft visibility.

Caught them on a drop shot and a jigging spoon. Also caught a bunch of kentuckies on the drop shot in the same water.

Having fun in last hour before dark on topwater. Best luck on 45 degree rocky banks, many hits coming very close to bank as bass move in to feed. Following up short strikes with worm is fun, too.
