Morning bit off pints with spinnerbait pulled them up from 10'-16' depths. Afternoon pushed the bite to the bottom with shakeyhead.

The smallies were on flatter points with gravel/chunk rock mix. Large mouth and spots came on steeper banks with bigger chunk rock. We had 15lbs in just a couple hours once the sun got up. Stay in the wind if possible. 4.30 smallie and 4.27 largemouth 2.40 spot. I had the best luck on Norman NXS but they aren’t listed on Omnia right now.

There are a few largemouth pushing into bushes with the current high water conditions. You can spend a good portion of the day flipping a Texas rig into that shallow brush and pulling out decent fish in that 2-3lb range. The storms have been firing up these fish, but post front fish will be shy. Its hard to get specific with color, as the water clarity is changing day by day. What I tagged as the hotbait is the color I chose to throw with 5-6ft visibility.

Caught them on a drop shot and a jigging spoon. Also caught a bunch of kentuckies on the drop shot in the same water.

You can catch fish Carolina rigging a Zoom green pumpkin centipede in 28’ to 32’. Look for these fish on pea gravel points or large flats. I do see a lot of trollers out, and they are catching a lot of fish on deep diving crank baits in 30+ ‘

Was a pretty good day overall. Caught probably 30 with 7 or 8 keepers. Lost a couple decent ones early on a topwater that would have given me a decent bag.
